The US-Qatar Business Council Mission

The Council provides information and sponsors events and programs which provide insight into Qatar and its international and business environment. As the only American organization focused on improving commercial relations with Qatar, the Council plays a leading role in expansion of the bilateral relationship.

The Council is a membership-based organization, and its focus lies on providing value-added services to corporate members in the US, Qatar, and around the world.

CBS 60 Minutes

CBS veteran correspondent, Mr. Bob Simon, interviewed a number of prominent Qatari officials in a recent segment on Qatar. H.H. Emir Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani and Prime Minster and Foreign Minster Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani were among those interviewed. In it, Qatar’s role in the Arab Spring, its unquie society, remarkable economic growth and foreign policy were discussed.
