USQBC Hosts Luncheon Discussion Featuring Ambassador Timmy T. Davis

Washington, DC - On June 12th, 2023, the US-Qatar Business Council (USQBC) hosted an exclusive off-the-record luncheon discussion featuring Ambassador Timmy T. Davis, US Ambassador to the State of Qatar. The event took place at the USQBC head office in Washington DC, with attendance limited to USQBC members.

The luncheon served as a catalyst for strengthening trade relations, exploring investment opportunities, and further deepening economic cooperation between the United States and Qatar. Ambassador Davis shared invaluable perspectives and knowledge, providing a comprehensive understanding of the political, economic, and cultural landscapes shaping the bilateral relationship.

Mohammed Barakat, Managing Director and Treasurer of the Board of Directors of USQBC, delivered the introductory remarks at the luncheon. Ambassador Davis followed with remarks, and a subsequent Q&A session was conducted for USQBC members. During his remarks, Ambassador Davis emphasized the strength of the US-Qatar commercial partnership and reflected on his one-year anniversary as Ambassador.
